Revolver "Active Viewing" technology Debuts Art Installation in Athens and Nafplio Greece
The exclusive, upcoming multimedia art exhibition and debut of “The Tenth use” will be displayed in the cities of Athens and Nafplio in Greece.
This monumental international installation is the first of it’s kind utilizing the Revolver Active Viewing technology and will take place in conjunction with Donovan’s Sapphograph exhibition opening June 1st at the Hellenic American Union in Athens, Greece. Chris Murray, Director of Govinda Gallery in Washington, D.C., curates the exhibition.
The unveiling of the Tenth Muse pays homage to Donovan’s Sapphograph’s and allows spectators to experience these works of art in a three dimensional “space”.
By using the mouse and the PC keyboard, the spectator can interact with Donovan’s three dimensional Sapphographs by rotating, expanding, closing in, or moving the image forward or backward. The spectator decides whether he wants to see one image or five images at a time. Donovan’s apphographs will pulsate around the spectator’s point of view as if they were standing inside the Sapphograph. The beauty of ”The Tenth Muse” is intuitive, hypnotic, and visually stimulating.
